The last time Henry County's volleyball team won 17 matches during the regular season was in 2003, when the 17-9 squad was knocked out of the opening round of the 28th District tournament by cross-town rival Eminence. But this time around, four years later, the HCHS Ladycats came away with an opening round 2-0 win over the EHS Warriors, which gave the Cats their second consecutive trip to the district finals and a second berth into the 8th Region tournament.
