Trackside, local help the homeless

-A A +A
By Christopher Brooke

Trackside Butcher Shoppe recently helped an Eminence resident make a donation of 440 pounds of pork to two homeless shelters in the region.
MaShea Bramblett kept a pig for more than 10 years, until it grew to a little less than 900 pounds.
When the time came to put the pig to sleep, Bramblett wanted something positive to come from it. She decided it would be good to donate the pork to Wayside Christian Mission in downtown Louisville and to Open Door of Hope Men’s Shelter in Shelbyville.
