Who do you relay for?

-A A +A

Most, if not all, of us have someone we know that has been touched by cancer. If you’d like a way to remember your loved ones lost, honor surviors and raise money to help the American Cancer Society, Relay For Life is a good way to show your support.

Relay for Life is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in thousands of communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give their time and effort to take action against cancer.

In this week’s paper, on A7, the Henry County Local provided a way for you to show your support at our community’s Relay on Saturday, June 23.

We want to know who you relay for - write out the name of your loved one and share it with us. Tag us on social media! We’re on Facebook at facebook.com/henrycountylocal and on Instagram at instagram.com/henrycountylocal.

And we will be at the event, too, showing our support for our loved ones who have battled this terrible disease. Come say “hi” to us, while we stand together to raise money to beat cancer once and for all.
