    EPD Arrests

    James P. Wright, 42, Eminence was arrested on April 22 on Vernon Avenue by Officer Kemper serving a warrant for another agency.

    KSP Arrests

    Perry S. Brewer, 36, New Castle arrested on April 23 on W. Cross Main, New Castle by Trooper Brewer for possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and execution of a bench warrant for another agency (8)

    Please join us at Henry County High School on May 14 and May 15 for our Senior Service Showcase, a celebration and recognition of the efforts and achievements of our seniors this year as they have raised awareness and/or donations for their self-selected causes and organizations.  You will be inspired and amazed at what they have been able to accomplish, together.

    We can help by accepting individual differences: at home, at work, and at school. The Henry County Public Schools and Eminence Independent Schools urge you, through “Child Quest,” a campaign to help locate children ages 3-22, who are not presently receiving services, give every child a chance to learn.

  • Warriors win marathon game in 15

    The Eminence Warriors’ baseball team got their first win of the season on Friday night when they hosted the Burgin Bulldogs but it wasn’t easy. Austin Jones settled down to strike out 17 batters after a rough first inning and relievers Travis Bell and Cole Lawson struck seven and nine respectively in extra innings as the Warriors came back three times to get the win.

  • Wildcats split four games

    The Henry County Wildcats started the week with two losses to district rivals but came back to get big wins over Southern and Owen County to cap off a busy week of baseball.

  • EHS shows improvement against Frankfort

    The Eminence Warriors traveled to Frankfort on April 16 to take on the Lady Panthers of Frankfort High School and came out on the short end 12-8. When the Warriors hosted Frankfort on March 26 they lost 20-1.

  • Lady Cats drop four; Defeat N.Oldham

    The Henry County Lady Cats had a busy week with five games in four days and it did not go well for them as they dropped four games. The Lady Cats did get a quality win over the North Oldham Lady Mustangs on Friday.

    Owen County 3 HCHS 2

    The Lady Cats hosted the Lady Rebels on April 16 and fell by one run in a game that saw the Lady Cats outhit Owen County 6-3.

  • Wildcat track team wins home meet

    The Henry County Wildcat track team hosted their first meet of the season on a warm, sunny Thursday evening and came away with great results. Cameron Johnson set a personal record in winning the triple jump with a leap of 41feet, four inches. The distance was enough to qualify Johnson for the Eastern Relays, a prestigious invitational held at U of L on April 26.
