2024 notice to Henry County property owners

The Constitution of Kentucky requires the Property Valuation Administrator to collect, maintain and assess at fair cash value, all property located in Henry County.

KRS 132.220 requires that all persons owning or having interest in real property in Henry County to list such property with the Property Valuation Administrator’s Office between January 1 and March 1 of each year. Personal Property returns are to be filed by May 15,2024.

If you have built, made additions to or demolished any structures on your property, you are required to report these changes to our office.

If you have changed your mailing address, please contact us to verify that we have your correct mailing address on file. You may not receive your tax bill if you do not provide us with your correct mailing address.

If you will be 65 years of age during the year 2024 and have not applied for the Homestead Exemption, please contact us for information regarding this exemption as soon as possible.

If you are eligible to claim a Disability Exemption for the 2024 tax year, you must complete the necessary forms by Dec. 31, 2024 in order to qualify for this exemption.
